The Presidential Suite at the historic Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, was comprehensively renovated in 2008. The Crystal Rooms - North, South and Central - were crafted by the founding generation. Decades later, during the hotel’s restoration and refurbishment, Sangeeta and Jayesh Patel installed the chandeliers for the Crystal Ballroom in 2009, followed by the comprehensive renovation of the Presidential Suite in 2008–09. 

Each project reflects a continued commitment to preserving the hotel’s architectural heritage through handcrafted lighting.

As part of the refurbishment, Kasi Chandeliers designed and crafted bespoke chandeliers that complement the suite’s distinguished interiors while respecting the architectural character of this iconic landmark.
